HydraFacial is a three-step treatment performed using the HydraFacial Syndeo.
Instead of doing exfoliation and extractions by hand, the device uses one handheld tip to cleanse the skin, exfoliate it physically and with a light chemical peel, use suction for extractions and apply a serum to finish. All three happen in one appointment, in the same order every time.
At Phantom, you can book the Signature HydraFacial on its own, the Platinum HydraFacial with added steps, or Phantom Glow, which combines it with Aerolase Neo Elite.

Phantom Glow is our signature pairing of Aerolase Neo Elite and HydraFacial in one appointment.
It's for patients with concerns like acne, redness, pigmentation or uneven tone who want a laser treatment and a HydraFacial in one visit. Together, they give us two different ways of working with the skin during the same visit.
Before beginning, your provider will assess your skin and make sure Aerolase is appropriate for you.
HydraFacial is a facial done in three steps with a handheld tip. Aerolase Neo Elite is a laser treatment. Phantom Glow brings the two together in one treatment plan.
Rather than simply adding treatments for the sake of doing more, we'll first look at your skin and determine whether the combination makes sense for you. If it does, both treatments are performed during the same appointment.
Your HydraFacial appointment is still a skin appointment first. We don't begin with the device. We begin with you.

We'll talk about your skin, what you've been noticing, the products you're currently using and any relevant health history. If you've booked Phantom Glow, we'll also assess your skin to make sure the laser portion of the treatment is appropriate for you.
You'll lie back while the HydraFacial tip moves across the skin in a series of passes. It feels cool and wet, with a light pulling feeling during the extraction step. Your provider will guide you through the treatment and you can always let us know if something feels uncomfortable.
We'll talk through what to expect from your skin afterward and any aftercare recommendations specific to you. If HydraFacial is going to become part of a larger skin plan, we'll also help you understand where it fits alongside your other treatments.
The Signature HydraFacial follows three core steps.
We start by cleansing the skin, then exfoliate with the HydraFacial tip using physical exfoliation and a light chemical peel, so it's more than suction.
Next, the tip switches to suction for extractions. Your provider can spend additional time on areas that tend to hold more buildup, such as the nose, chin and forehead.
The treatment finishes with a serum applied across the skin using the same tip.
The Platinum HydraFacial adds lymphatic drainage, customized serum boosters and LED light therapy to these three steps.
For Phantom Glow appointments, your treatment also includes Aerolase Neo Elite. Your provider will explain how the two treatments will be performed together based on your skin.

You'll feel a cool, wet tip moving across the skin and a light pulling sensation during the extraction portion. If anything feels uncomfortable during your appointment, let your provider know and we can adjust.
Everyone's skin responds differently. Before you leave, we'll go over what you can expect afterward and any recommendations based on your skin and the treatment performed.
There isn't one schedule that makes sense for everyone. It depends on your skin, your goals and what other treatments are part of your routine. Your provider can recommend a schedule based on what makes sense for you rather than automatically putting you on a set treatment interval.
